As 2025 comes to a close, Wilks Development reflects on a year defined by meaningful progress, strong performance, and strategic expansion. True to our mission to create exceptional spaces that enrich the lives of communities, this year we continued to prioritize quality, long-term impact, and community benefit.   

Across development, leasing, operations, and internal growth, 2025 marked a pivotal chapter in advancing our long-term vision — not measured simply by square footage, but by the lasting benefits to the people who live, work, and play in the places we build.   

 Major Project Highlights 

 Firefly Park:  

2025 marked a major milestone year for Firefly Park, with horizontal infrastructure substantially completed — including grading, utilities, and paving — laying the foundation for vertical development and future community activations. 

 Two significant multifamily projects reached key financing milestones and began vertical construction in Q3: 
• Noc at Firefly Park – a 187-unit mid-rise multifamily community 
• Aurora at Firefly Park – a 233-unit luxury high-rise multifamily development 

 Together, these projects represent a major step forward in bringing Firefly Park’s live-work-play vision to life — a vision rooted in crafting thriving, interconnected communities that offer residents a balance of living, recreation, and convenience.   

 Willow Park:  

Wilks Development saw great momentum across our Willow Park properties this year, with continued leasing activity and community activation throughout. 

 The District at Willow Park 
• 88% leased  
• Successful events and programming driven by the marketing team, enhancing tenant engagement and community presence 

 The Shops at Willow Park 
• A strong and diverse tenant lineup, including new tenants Clean Eatz, Studio 369, and Maven — along with Rotolo’s joining us in 2026. 

 These results reflect the value of creating places where everyday needs and favorite local spots live side by side — making it easy to enjoy great retail, dining, and experiences right in your own backyard. 

Public Market :

A major milestone was reached with the execution of 22,000 SF of commercial leases at Public Market. Build-outs are now underway for: 
• Public Market Café & Goods 
• The Madrone  
• Willow  

These concepts will anchor Public Market as a premier food-and-beverage destination — enriching community life by fostering connection, gathering, and shared experiences. 

Portfolio Performance 

Commercial Leasing 

Across key commercial assets the portfolio achieved: 

• 96% average occupancy in 2025 
• Projected 98% occupancy by year-end 

This performance reflects strong market demand and disciplined asset management, rooted in our belief that real estate should serve people and communities. 

 Multifamily Portfolio 

 Wilks Development’s multifamily portfolio delivered standout results: 

• 648 units under management 
• 420 units under construction in Frisco 
• 199 units completed at The Harden 
• 95%+ occupancy at The Lofts at Allen Ridge 
• 37% increase above market rent per square foot at The Lofts 

 These metrics demonstrate operational strength and the value of designing and managing communities that prioritize comfort, connection, and long-term sustainability.

At the heart of Wilks Development’s success in 2025 was the continued growth of our team. This year, we welcomed new talent across development, construction, leasing, marketing, property management, and operations — strengthening our ability to execute at a higher level while staying true to the values that define our company.   

 Each new team member brought not only expertise, but a shared commitment to excellence, collaboration, and long-term vision. As our portfolio expanded and projects advanced, so did the depth and capability of the people behind the work — because at Wilks, people truly are our greatest asset.   

 That momentum was on full display at our end-of-year celebration, where executives and managers from each team took time to recognize their people — speaking with pride about the dedication, grit, and care that went into every milestone this year. It was a meaningful reminder that behind every square foot delivered, lease executed, and community activated is a group of individuals who show up every day with purpose and passion.
