Leadership

President, CEO
Kyle Wilks is President and CEO of Wilks Development, a real estate development and investment company he founded in 2011 under the Wilks family office. Known for his hands-on leadership and strategic vision, Kyle directs the company’s overall trajectory—including site identification and evaluation, financial modeling, design oversight, and execution of construction and financing. Since its inception, Wilks Development has completed 30+ projects and managed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions, spanning multiple markets. Kyle began his professional journey in the masonry trade, working at the family-owned Wilks Masonry. Through over a decade of dedication, he rose to Vice President, gaining deep expertise in construction and operations. He later transitioned to the energy sector, serving as Senior Vice President of Transportation at Vertex Solutions, a division of Frac Tech Services. He played a key role during the company’s high-growth phase before its 2011 sale. That same year, Kyle also joined the family office as a Director at Farjo and Wilks Brothers, where he continues to help manage investments, acquisitions, business ventures, and trading. He was an original investor and the largest shareholder in The Daily Wire and Bentkey through the family office. A lifelong resident of Cisco, Texas, Kyle lives with his wife, Julie, and their four children. He and his family are active in their church and community. Kyle coaches youth sports and has served on several local boards, including First Financial Bank, Cisco Recreation Association, and the Cisco College Board of Regents.
Kyle’s leadership and influence have been recognized as a three-time honoree on the Fort Worth Inc. 500 Most Influential List and a 2025 Dallas Business Journal Newsmaker.

Executive Senior Vice President

Senior Executive Vice President
Jess Green is a self-made man who started his career as a common laborer in the masonry trade at a young age. Through hard work and dedication, he found himself in multiple leadership roles and eventually started his own company, C&J Masonry, Inc. in 2006. Green’s experience and knowledge in construction ultimately led him to become a Project Manager at Wilks Masonry, Inc., where he oversaw the entire construction process for multiple projects.
While working for the Wilks family business, Green directed the construction process and assisted with designing two industrialized frac sand plants. He then spent nearly three years as a plant manager with FTS International, which was the largest private well completion company in North America at the time. In July 2014, Green became the Development Manager at Wilks Development, LLC, and later advanced his career by becoming Senior Vice President.
As Senior Vice President, Green oversees the design and construction process of real estate projects, assists with due diligence, zoning, financing, and acquisitions, and directs day-to-day property management operations.
