The District at Willow Park welcomes MELT Ice Creams to its restaurant row.
The fifth MELT Ice Creams location marks its first in Parker County.
WILLOW PARK, TX— Wilks Development announced today that Fort Worth’s favorite ice cream shop, MELT Ice Creams, will join The District at Willow Park, a high-end restaurant row and entertainment venue in Parker County.
Wilks Development anticipates that MELT Ice Creams and The District Butcher will open their doors in the Summer 2024.
MELT Ice Creams, led by Kari Crowe-Seher, opened its first location in Fort Worth’s Near Southside in 2014. Since then, Crowe-Seher has opened three additional locations, including one in Dallas. Their limited-batch ice creams, made with the highest quality dairy and all-natural ingredients, can also be found in boutique grocery stores and events across the metroplex.
Wilks Development President Kyle Wilks stated, “We are excited for Kari to bring this beloved Fort Worth ice cream shop to Willow Park and Parker County. In addition to their fantastic ice cream, Kari and her team are well-known for their remarkable connection to the communities they serve, which is precisely the type of tenants we are trying to bring to The District.

Wilks added, “With so many Fort Worthians making the move west to areas like Walsh Ranch, our own Willow Park North, and other neighborhoods in between, we know that these residents already love MELT Ice Creams and will clamor to get inside once they open.”
Space is still available in The District at Willow Park, which features total and elevated views of the 1,500 – 2,000 capacity outdoor amphitheater and Lucchese Stage that will have programming 4-5 nights a week by 2025. Wilks further explained. “There’s nothing like The District in this area. We’re bringing big-city tastes and sounds right to Willow Park. No more driving 15-20 minutes into Fort Worth for first-rate desserts, restaurants, and entertainment.”
