2023 In Review
As we step into 2024, it's always good to look back and reflect on the previous year. Wilks Development had a lot of exciting moments in 2023. From kicking off new projects to adding team members, the year was filled with highlights that made it a memorable one. Let's take a look at some of the notable moments that made 2023 a big year for us.
FORT WORTH PUBLIC MARKET GROUNDBREAKING
In June, we broke ground and started construction work on the much-awaited Fort Worth Public Market project. Our team, along with city officials, members of the Fort Worth Chamber, and other stakeholders, gathered to celebrate this achievement on the 93rd anniversary of the Market's original opening.

COMPLETION + RIBBON CUTTING OF THE LOFTS AT ALLEN RIDGE
Over in West Texas, we completed The Lofts at Allen Ridge, conveniently situated near Abilene Christian University and the bustling Allen Ridge shopping center. The ACU Cheer Squad, Abilene Chamber, our friends at NE Management, and the new residents helped us cut the ribbon on this new 210-unit multifamily complex.
SIX NEW BUILDINGS COMPLETED & LEASED AT MARKUM BUSINESS PARK
Our team has been working hard to meet the high demand for industrial buildings in Fort Worth. We are proud to announce that we added an additional 100k SF of leasable space by constructing six new buildings in the fully leased Markum Business Park. With this expansion, we continue to provide top-quality industrial spaces and contribute to the growth of Fort Worth's business community.

BROUGHT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN-HOUSE FOR HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS—KERMIT
We have recently taken over the property management of our Holiday Inn Express in West Texas. This move signifies the expansion of our company into hospitality and our ability to handle such responsibilities in-house. Additionally, we were able to provide employment opportunities to all the hotel staff.
ADDED 8 EMPLOYEES TO OUR TEAM
This year has been an exciting one for our company as we welcomed a number of talented individuals to our team in marketing, accounting, and property management.
