Locally owned Mariposa’s Latin Kitchen, a mother-and-daughter shop that began as a tamale caterer and expanded to a restaurant, has ended dining service in Fort Worth in favor of catering orders before a 2019 move to Willow Park, owner Crystal Padilla said in a Facebook Live announcement.
Wednesday was the last day for the dining side of Mariposa’s, which remains open to pick up orders of the restaurant’s popular turkey-and-dressing tamales and other flavors. The space is available for events through summer 2019, she said.
